Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 3:30 pm

Founded in 1972 by students at the Prague Conservatory, the celebrated Pražák Quartet (Pražák means ‘Prague resident’) has performed at concert halls and festivals worldwide for nearly 50 years. It has also released more than 50 award-winning recordings.
“Simply put, the Pražák Quartet is one of the world’s finest ensembles,” said ClassicsToday. The BBC Music Magazine added that “The Pražák Quartet’s…playing is not only dramatic, but astonishingly beautiful…These are truly remarkable performances which stand with the very finest.”
This performance will be our opportunity to bid the ensemble farewell, as it has announced that this will be its final North American tour.
