David Finckel, Wu Han, and Philip Setzer

The stellar musicians in this trio shine equally brightly. Cellist David Finckel and pianist Wu Han are the music directors of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center; violinist Philip Setzer is a founding member of the Emerson String Quartet, as was David Finckel. “Their ensemble is seamless,” said the Washington Post. In addition to performing and recording, these artists are also educators, innovators, and advocates.
The San Diego Union-Tribune praised the luminous trio’s “wonderful…resonant…and compelling” artistry and the St. Paul Pioneer Press noted that this ensemble is also “almost as much fun to watch as to hear.”
